PSCA INTERNATIONAL'S SCOTTISH MOVE

PSCA International, publishers of publicservice.co.uk, Public Servant magazine and the Public Service Review series, has opened new offices in Scotland overlooking the Scottish Government building on Edinburgh's Commercial Quay.

It will enable PSCA to provide a dedicated service to Scottish public sector business, government and partners, after nine years of continuous development through its specialist public sector print, online and events divisions. The company started with three people in 1999 and will employ more than 200 by the end of 2008, operating from offices in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Manchester, Birmingham as well as Edinburgh.

"Scotland has a vision to transform government and public services," says PSCA chief operating officer Gordon Warrender. "Our team in Scotland will be best placed to communicate that and we look forward to presenting new publications and conferences for Scotland."

PSCA has appointed an Edinburgh man, James McKay, as its general manager in Scotland. After working in higher education, he joined the company in 2003. Edward Emerson, former managing director of Business Finance magazine in Edinburgh, is head of sales.
